Ipoh Cafe @ Cuppage Plaza

Back again with nice food! Actually, this post should have been posted few months ago.. LOL. Anyway, for this entry we actually planning to go to have a japanese food over there but when we were there, the stall already closed or gone. And we were too hungry during that time and happened to saw Ipoh Cafe which is somewhere nearby. We decided to give it a try since their curry chicken seems so tempting for me. Oh ya.. i really love curry alot! haha.

this is their curry chicken. firstly, not spicy for me but the taste is not too bad for their standard. i remebered their service is very good and makes us feel like i am at home. thumb up for their great and friendly service. its really above my expectation.

Rating: 3 / 5

Our Where To Eat Leh, photographer ordered their asam laksa. Based on her feedback, the taste was not bad and quite close to the taste of malaysia asam laksa that she had. But too bad, the gravy taste is not as thick she had tried before. it would be wonderful if their gravy taste can be thicker.

Rating: 3.5 / 5

We are sorry that unable to provide the full address for this stall but we will update again soon.

G7 Sin Ma Live Bull Frog Claypot Porridge @ 3 Cheong Chin Nam Road

I'm back again, i know i have been MIA for past 4 months here. There are lots of pictures with the temptation food we took and we would like to really post and share with everyone here.

For this post, it should be up 2-3 months ago. Actually this stall is located opposite beauty world shopping, along the busy street.. there are alot of foods in that area and there is only one stall only selling frog porridge there

I remember clearly that the porridge is their strong point, actually quite tasty compared with the rest i tried before. But as for the frog leg, its quite normal to me. there are two types of frog leg for your selection, i cant remember the name but in short it should be spicy and non-spicy type.

above is their porridge, looks very normal right? but trust me, the taste really not bad. actually without gravy also can be very tasty. next is the main dish, we ordered 2 frog legs that day, sufficient for two person. gravy is not bad.

we also ordered another dish too that day. if you are going to order another side dish over there, i would recommend this.

Ramen Santouka @ The Central

We are back again. It has been quite some time since the last update. As for today post will be introducing the ramen at the central. It is located right above Clark Quay Mrt Station.

Ramen Santouka is one of my all time favourite whenever i am at clark quay. You have to take note that usually about 6-8pm, the crowds will increase and the restaurant are usually full.

The image showing below is the Shoyu Ramen. There are 4 basic different types of taste and this is one of them.

Damage: $13.50
Rating: 4/5

Next will be their Toro Nuku Shio Ramen. The meat is tender but the only minus point is that its slightly salty. As for the soup is nice and much more simple than the ealier Shoyu Ramen

Rating: 4/5
Damage: $19.50

In addition, we also ordered extra tamago which is egg to add into our dinner.
Rating: Simple and nice
Damage: $1.00

It is worth giving a try especially you are craving for japanese ramen.

Blue Star @ Yishun

Today, i would like to introduce an indian stall located at Yishun, Chong Pang. If you are Prata lovers, I would suggest that you can give it a try. This time round, other than ordered prata, we also tried something different at their stall. We ordered Tom Yam Sotong and their Nasi Goreng.

There are many different type of tom yam in their menu. As for their Tom Yam Sotong, it is not that spicy and the taste still alright. The minus point of this dish is that the sotong in the tom yam is quite hard to chew. Really had a hard time chewing it.

Tom Yam Sotong
Rating: 2.5/5
Damage: $5.50

Next, i also tried their nasi goreng. Actually i have tried their mee goreng before and it was not too bad. Same for nasi goreng, not that bad too.

Nasi Goreng
Rating: 3/5
Damage: $3.00

Lastly, now introducing their prata. We ordered only 1 egg prata for that night. As usual, i still find their prata the best afterall among their other dishes.

Egg Prata
Rating: 4/5
Damage: $1.20

Anyway, i think if you have the crave for prata and i believe this is the right place i can introduce you :)

Fish N Chicks @ Sembawang Road

It is not a typo, its not fish n chips. The place we went to is really Fish N Chicks. It is located at sembawang road, beside sembawang shopping centre.

From the name of the restaurant, it sounds like a western food restaurant. But the surprise thing is, they not only simply offer western foods they also offered those "chi cha" food like hor fun etc. Quite a wide range of foods for you to decide from their menu.

So what have we ordered that day? We ordered Calamri Rings and if really need to compared to the Fish N Chips, i would feel Fish N Chips Calamari Rings are slighly better. Dont mistaken, actually their Calamri Rings also not that bad too.

Calamri Rings
Rating: 3/5
Damage: $6.00

For my main dish, i ordered Grilled chicken with black pepper. I would say its nice esp the chicken. Black pepper gravy is nice and tasty when you enjoyed it together with the chicken. I would recommend this dish. It is healthier because it is grilled, less oily.

Grilled Chicken with Black Pepper
Rating: 3.5/5
Damage: $6.90

Next, we going to introduce their Carbonara. Not much comment on this for me. I would say is nice. Together with the bacons, it makes the dish much more tasty and tempting. Hopefully on my next visit, i would like to try their aglio oglio. :)

Carbonara
Rating: 3/5
Damage: $6.80

One good thing about Fish N Chicks is there is no service charge and GST and they have wide variety of food other than western food. It is quite accessible, if you are taking public transport, you can actually board the shuttle bus to sembawang shopping centre. They are located right beside the shopping centre.
